　　Atheros是芯片品牌。

　　Atheros成立于1998年，依附斯坦福大学，致力于广播和信号处理。总部位于美国加利福尼亚州伯克利镇。Atheros和Broadcom一样，专注于无线芯片的开发，其芯片产品也倾向于无线领域。

　　在有线芯片方面，Atheros只有两款千兆产品——AR8021和AR8216。8021就是一个标准的千兆网卡芯片，没有什么特点可言。8216在8021的基础上增加了对802.1p的支持，加入Qos系统，支持IPv6和VLAN功能。

　　无线方面的芯片就很多了，大的系列有AR5000系列、AR6000系列、AR9001系列。每个大系列中还分很多小系列，例如5000系列分5002、5005、5006、5007、5008几个系列，AR5005VA、AR5005G是5005系列中的芯片。
