　　综合指标

　　在水质分析中，除了测定单个组分的含量外，往往还需要测定地下水的一些综合性指标，或者根据单项指标的分析结果对地下水质的某些综合指标进行计算。这些综合指标不仅可以反映水的某些方面的性质，更多的则是反映了地下水水质的综合性质。这些指标包括pH值、氧化还原电位、总溶解固体、含盐量、硬度、生化需氧量、化学需氧量、总有机碳、碱度、酸度等。

　　4.1.5.1 pH值

　　pH值取决于水中所含H+的浓度，H+浓度愈高，pH值愈低。pH值是衡量水溶液酸碱性质的一个综合性物理化学指标，它对化学元素在水溶液中的存在形式及地下水与围岩的相互作用有着重要的影响。水溶液的pH值受多种因素的制约，主要包括溶液的化学成分、温度、压力(特别是CO2和H2S等气体的分压)等。

　　天然地下水可以从pH为0.45～1的强酸性水变为pH为10～11.5的强碱性水，但大部分地下水的pH值介于6～8.5之间。最低的pH值(0.45～3)一般与水中存在自由硫酸或自由盐酸有关，pH值介于3～6.5的水除含自由硫酸外，可能与有机酸和碳酸气(CO2)有关，中性和弱碱性水(pH=6.5～8.5)以含Ca(HCO3)2，Mg(HCO3)2为特征，pH增至8.5～10.5的水则大部分与存在Na2CO3，NaHCO3有关，而pH值到最高的11.5时仅在少数热水中才能遇到。

　　我国生活饮用水卫生标准规定饮用水的pH值应在6.5～8.5之间，pH值在此范围之内不会对人体健康产生影响。如果水的pH值过高，将会导致水中溶解盐类的析出，使水的感官形状恶化，而且还会降低氯化消毒的效果。如果水的pH值过低，则使水有较强的腐蚀作用，增强了水对金属(铁、铅、铝等)的溶解。

　　4.1.5.2 氧化还原电位

　　氧化还原电位(Eh)是表征水体氧化还原状态的一个综合性物理化学指标，其单位为V或mV。天然水体中的气体、无机物、有机物和微生物共同组成了一个复杂的氧化还原平衡体系，氧化还原电位即是这种作用的表现和结果。水体的氧化还原条件对元素在其中的存在形态以及元素的迁移、富集和分散有重要的影响，一些元素在氧化环境中有较强的迁移能力，而另外一些元素则在还原条件下的水体中更容易迁移。水体的氧化还原电位对环境因素的变化很敏感，温度、pH值以及溶解气体含量的变化都会对其造成很大影响。因此，Eh值一般都在现场使用专门仪器进行测定。

　　4.1.5.3 总溶解固体

　　总溶解固体(Totaldissolvedsolids，缩写为TDS)是指水中溶解组分的总量，包括水中的离子、分子及络合物，但不包括悬浮物和气体。总溶解固体可通过在105～110℃时把水蒸干，对所得到的干涸残余物的总量进行称重而得到，其单位为mg/L或g/L。除了可直接测定外，也可以根据水质分析结果进行计算，方法是把所有溶解组分(溶解气体除外)的含量加起来再减去HCO－3含量的一半。这里之所以要减去HCO－3含量的一半是因为在水样蒸干的过程中，约有一半的HCO－3转化成了CO2气体和H2O而散失掉，其反应如下:

　　地下水科学概论

　　按照反应方程式的化学剂量关系计算，2molHCO－3分解为CO2－3时，将有1molCO2气体和1molH2O产生，并在蒸干过程中散失，损失的摩尔质量基本上是HCO－3摩尔质量的一半。

　　除了HCO－3外，硝酸、硼酸、有机物等也可能损失一部分。与此相反，可能有部分结晶水(如石膏CaSO4·2H2O)和吸着水保留在干涸残余物里。因此TDS的实测值与计算值常常有一些微小的差别。

　　矿化度是我国学者过去常用的术语，其含义与总溶解固体相同。矿化度的概念来源于前苏联，其他国家的文献中几乎没有出现过，近年来我国供水、环境等相关部门也已采用总溶解固体一词。

　　4.1.5.4 含盐量

　　含盐量(salinity)是指水中各组分的总量，其常用的单位是mg/L或g/L。该指标是计算值，它与总溶解固体的区别在于无需减去HCO－3含量的一半。含盐量在灌溉水质的评价以及河流向海洋输送风化产物的计算中经常用到。在海洋水化学研究中，常用含盐度代替含盐量，含盐度的含义是海水中所有组分的含量占水的重量的千分数，以‰表示。

　　4.1.5.5 硬度

　　水的硬度(Hardness)反映了水中多价金属离子含量的总和，这些离子包括Ca2+，Mg2+，Sr2+，Fe2+，Fe3+，Al3+，Mn2+，Ba2+等。与Ca2+和Mg2+相比，其他多价金属离子在天然水中的含量一般很少，因此天然水的硬度往往主要是由Ca2+，Mg2+引起的。硬度通常以CaCO3的mg/L数来表示，其数值等于水中所有多价金属离子毫克当量浓度的总和乘以50(CaCO3的当量)。过去，我国一直用德国度来表示水的硬度，由于德国度是非法定计量单位，目前均已改用法定计量单位CaCO3的mg/L数来表示硬度。

　　根据水的硬度可将其划分为软水、微硬水、硬水和极硬水，见表4.1。

　　硬度可分为总硬度、碳酸盐硬度和非碳酸盐硬度。总硬度即是以CaCO3的mg/L数表示的水中多价金属离子的总和。碳酸盐硬度是指可以与水中的CO2－3和HCO－3结合的硬度，当水中有足够的CO2－3和HCO－3可供结合时，碳酸盐硬度就等于总硬度;当水中的CO2－3和HCO－3不足时，碳酸盐硬度就等于CO2－3与HCO－3的毫克当量数之和乘以50，也就是以CaCO3的mg/L数表示的水中CO2－3与HCO－3的总量。碳酸盐硬度通常被称为暂时硬度，因为这部分硬度可以与水中的CO2－3和HCO－3结合，当水被煮沸时即可形成CaCO3等沉淀而被除去。总硬度与碳酸盐硬度之差称为非碳酸盐硬度或永久硬度，它指的是与水中Cl－，SO2－4，NO－3等结合的多价金属阳离子的总量，水煮沸后不能被除去。

　　水的硬度在不同地区通常变化很大，一般情况下地表水的硬度要小于地下水的硬度。地下水的硬度往往反映了它所接触的地层岩性，当表土层较厚且有石灰岩存在时，水的硬度一般较大，而软水则一般出现在表土层较薄且石灰岩稀少或不存在的地方。

　　水的硬度对日常生活和工业用水都有一定的影响。如硬水可以与肥皂发生反应，减少泡沫的形成，降低洗涤效果。高硬度水在锅炉、热水管道容易形成水垢，增加燃料消耗，降低热效率，堵塞管道。近年来，人们还发现心血管疾病的发病率与水的硬度之间有负相关关系，即饮用水的硬度愈低，心血管病的发病率愈高。

　　4.1.5.6 生化需氧量

　　生化需氧量(Biological oxygen demand，缩写为BOD)是指水体中的微生物在降解水中有机物的过程中所消耗的氧的总量，以mg/L表示。它实际是一个替代指标，用以替代反映水中可生物降解的有机物的含量，其值越高，说明水中有机污染物质越多。该指标常用于确定生活和工业废水的污染程度，以及地表水体或地下水体遭受污染的程度，对于未遭受污染的天然地下水则很少用到。

　　BOD测定实质上是一个生物降解过程，在该过程中，微生物把一定量的有机物降解为二氧化碳、水等，并测定这一过程中消耗掉的氧的总量。这一过程的完成程度往往由温度和时间所决定。从理论上讲，把有机物通过生物完全氧化所需的时间很长，为了缩短检测时间，同时保证测定的BOD值具有可比性，通常采用20℃下培养5天的测定结果来标定BOD，称其为五日生化需氧量，并记为BOD5。一般来说，BOD5在总BOD中已经占到了相当大的比例，对于生活和工业废水来说，可占到总BOD的70%～80%，基本满足反映水中有机物含量的需要。

　　4.1.5.7 化学需氧量

　　化学需氧量(Chemical oxygen demand，缩写为COD)是指采用化学氧化剂氧化水中有机物和还原性无机物所需消耗的氧的量，单位为mg/L。在COD的测定过程中，无论有机物能否被生物所降解，它都被氧化剂氧化成了二氧化碳和水。因此COD一般要大于BOD。COD测定的最大缺点就是它不能对生物可降解与生物不可降解的有机质进行区分，而且它不能提供可降解有机物在天然条件下达到稳定状态的任何速度信息。其优点是测定所需的时间短，只需要3个小时左右，因此在很多情况下都用COD来代替BOD。在同时积累了很多COD和BOD资料并建立了它们之间相关关系的情况下，可用BOD值对COD资料进行解释。

　　COD测定过程中通常采用氧化剂为高锰酸钾(KMnO4)和重铬酸钾(K2Cr2O7)的两种方法。分别采用CODMn和CODCr来表示高锰酸钾法和重铬酸钾法的测定结果。

　　4.1.5.8 总有机碳

　　总有机碳(Total organic carbon，缩写为TOC)是水中各种形式有机碳的总量，以mg/L表示。由于水中有机物的种类很多，目前还不能全部进行分离鉴定。TOC是一个快速检测的综合指标，它以碳的数量表示水中含有机物的总量，可通过测定高温燃烧所产生的CO2来确定，也可使用专门的TOC仪进行测定，与COD和BOD相比，它属于直接测定指标，而非替代指标，测试精度较高，能够更好地反映水中有机物的总含量。由于传统的燃烧法测定程序较为繁琐，而且难以排除无机碳的干扰，在水中有机碳含量较低的情况下，测试结果准确度较差，在以往的水质分析结果中，TOC的资料较少。随着TOC仪的逐渐普及和测试成本的下降，TOC测试会越来越多地应用到水质分析中。

　　4.1.5.9 碱度

　　碱度(Alkalinity)是表征水中和酸的能力的一个综合性指标。天然水的碱度主要由水中的弱酸盐类所引起，当然弱碱和强碱也有一定的贡献。一般情况下，碳酸盐和重碳酸盐是碱度的主要组成部分。其他的弱酸盐，如硼酸盐、硅酸盐和**酸盐的含量通常很少。极少数的有机酸(如腐殖酸)所形成的盐类也对天然水的碱度产生影响。虽然很多物质都对天然水的碱度有影响，但水的碱度主要由氢氧化物、碳酸盐和重碳酸盐3类物质所引起。

　　碱度的测定一般使用强酸标准溶液如硫酸，通过滴定法来测定，并用CaCO3的mg/L数来表示。

　　由碳酸盐和重碳酸盐所引起的碱度通常被称为碳酸盐碱度。碳酸盐碱度可以根据水质分析结果来进行计算，其方法是用50(CaCO3的当量)乘以CO2－3和HCO－3的毫克当量浓度之和。

　　4.1.5.10 酸度

　　酸度(Acidity)是表征水中和碱的能力的一个综合性指标。组成水中酸度的物质可归纳为3类:①强酸，如HCl，HNO3，H2SO4等;②弱酸，如CO2，H2CO3，HCO－3及各种有机酸等;③强酸弱碱盐，如FeCl3，Al2(SO4)3等。水中这些物质对强碱的总中和能力称为总酸度。总酸度与水中的H+浓度并不是一回事，H+浓度是指水中呈自由离子状态的H+数量，而总酸度则表示中和过程中可以与强碱反应的全部H+数量，其中包括了已电离的和将要电离的两部分。已电离的H+数量称为离子酸度，其负对数值即是水溶液的pH值。与碱度一样，酸度通常也用CaCO3的mg/L数来表示(沈照理等，1993)。
