2、用法的区别：
not only
not only后加but also意思是“不但...而且...”强调的是but also之后部分，后边的谓语要视最近得主语而定。
not only..but also...如果连接的两个部分不是主语，但却放到了句首，就要发生部分倒装。
both and
both...and连接句子的两个主语时，其后谓语动词通常用使用复数形式。
可以连接两个相同的部分，包括连接两个主语，宾语，定语，状语，也可以是复杂的句子。
